Tokarev USA's TAR 12 Marine is an AR-pattern 12 gauge semi-automatic that feeds from a detachable five-round magazine, one of which comes in the box. The 18.5-inch barrel has a 3-inch chamber, the metal wears a stainless/silver finish chosen for corrosion resistance, and the stock is synthetic. Weight is 8.5 pounds and overall length 38.5 inches. Folding backup iron sights are fitted, the optics rail accepts an aiming accessory, and the package includes three Beretta/Benelli-pattern choke tubes with a wrench.

The corrosion-resistant finish is the point of the Marine version: it suits a gun that lives in a damp garage or gets rained on at an outdoor range. With a magazine-fed 5+1 load it sits outside the three-shell limit New Jersey sets for deer shotguns, so treat it as a range and sporting gun here. The choke kit lets you tighten or open the pattern for clays, and the folding irons drop out of the way once an optic is mounted on the rail.
