The Benelli M4 H2O Tactical is a gas-operated semi-automatic 12 gauge with an 18.5-inch barrel, a 3-inch chamber and 7+1 capacity, coated in Titanium Cerakote. It carries ghost ring sights on a receiver with an integral Picatinny rail, so a red dot can go on top without removing the irons. The pistol-grip stock telescopes through five positions, taking length of pull from 13.75 to 15.125 inches, and the gun weighs 7.8 pounds at 40 inches overall.

Benelli's ARGO system uses two short-stroke pistons that regulate themselves, so the gun runs light and heavy loads alike and sheds carbon rather than packing it into the action. The Cerakote coating is there for corrosion and abrasion resistance in wet conditions. The ambidextrous safety and adjustable stock make it easy to fit to different shooters, and the short barrel keeps it handy in tight spaces.
