Short overall, full barrel: the Tokarev USA TBP12 in blue/black measures 28.5 inches end to end yet carries an 18.5-inch proof-tested 4140 steel barrel with a 3-inch chamber. It is a semi-automatic 12 gauge fed from a detachable five-round magazine, one included, for 5+1. Benelli-pattern full, modified and improved cylinder chokes and a wrench are in the box. The stock has an adjustable cheek riser, the forend wears an angled foregrip with a hand stop, and flip-up front and rear sights back up whatever goes on the Picatinny rail. A manual safety is fitted.

The cheek riser lets you set your head height to whichever optic you mount on the rail, and the angled foregrip and hand stop give the support hand a fixed position ahead of the magazine. In New Jersey, where a deer shotgun may hold no more than three shells, a magazine-fed 5+1 gun like this is a range, training and home-defense shotgun, and the choke set lets it do clays as well.
