SKB's Model 720 is an over/under field gun, and this used example comes in 28 gauge with 26-inch vent rib barrels threaded for removable chokes and chambered for 2 3/4 inch shells. The receiver is stainless with engraving, the barrels are blued, and the checkered wood forend and stock give a 14.75-inch length of pull. The bores are excellent, the stock shows only faint marks, and the supplier grades the gun very good overall. The spare chokes and the original box come with it. Serial number NT03599.

At 26 inches the barrels are short enough to swing fast in thick cover, and the 28 gauge keeps the whole gun light. New Jersey allows only 10 through 20 gauge shotguns for deer, so this one is for birds and clays, not the Six-Day Firearm season. The choke set lets you tighten or open the pattern to match the day.
