A Fabarm XLR5 Gryphon in 12 gauge, serial FA042169, of modern production. It is a semi-automatic sporting gun with a 32-inch vent-rib barrel, a screw-in choke and a 2 3/4-inch chamber. The stock and forend wear a Kryptek pattern, the metal is a mix of matte and blued finish, and length of pull is a long 15 inches. The bore is graded excellent.

Condition is honest rather than pristine: the supplier reports handling wear to both the finish and the stock and grades the gun good overall. A 32-inch semi-automatic is a dedicated clays layout, built for a long swing on sporting courses, and the 15-inch pull suits a tall shooter or someone who mounts with heavy winter clothing in a New Jersey January. The 12 gauge chambering is within the state's deer range, but the long barrel and sporting setup put this one on the course.
