The Beretta A400 Xplor Action in 20 gauge is a semi-automatic field gun with a 28-inch vent-rib barrel, a removable choke and a chamber that accepts both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. The receiver carries a bronze finish over a blued barrel, with a fiber-optic front sight. The checkered wood stock and forend are fitted with Beretta's Kick-Off recoil device and set at a 14.5-inch length of pull.

One point to check before ordering: the listing is filed as used, but the supplier's description reads NEW with a stock photo, so ask which applies to the actual gun. For New Jersey hunters a 20 gauge is inside the state's 10-to-20 gauge deer window, and the dual-chamber barrel means the same gun can shoot light field loads in the fall and heavier 3-inch shells when needed. The Kick-Off system is there to soften recoil on long days.
