The Mossberg 990 Aftershock is a semi-automatic 12 gauge defense gun with a 14.75-inch barrel, a matte finish, Magpul grip and handguard, a fiber optic front sight and a six-round capacity. The listing is filed as used under SKU D2026-00159, while the supplier text describes the gun as NEW and shows a stock photo rather than the actual item, so ask for pictures of the specific gun if condition matters to you. UPC 015813830010.

This is not a New Jersey hunting shotgun. State deer rules call for shotguns that hold no more than three shells, and a six-round semi-automatic falls outside that, so think of the Aftershock as a short defensive 12 gauge instead. The short barrel and grip keep it compact for storage in a home, and the fiber optic front sight picks up quickly in dim light. Confirm the configuration with your NJ dealer before placing the order.
