The Citadel BOSS-25 puts a 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun into an AR-style layout. It runs an 18.75-inch barrel with a 3-inch chamber, holds 5+1, and measures 37.75 inches overall at 8.08 pounds. The barrel wears a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote finish, the black synthetic stock has a comb that adjusts for height, and the front and rear sights are adjustable as well. A Picatinny rail on the receiver takes an optic, and a manual safety is fitted.

New Jersey allows 12 gauge shotguns for deer, but the state caps a deer shotgun at three shells and this one is built around a 5+1 load, so most Garden State owners will keep it for home defense, training and competition, which is what the maker intended. The adjustable comb lets you set cheek height the same way whether you are using the irons or an optic on the rail, and the 18.75-inch barrel keeps the whole package short enough to move through a hallway.
