Beretta's AX800 Suprema is a gas-driven 12 gauge field gun running the B-LINK Pro system, with a 28-inch vent rib barrel and an extended removable choke. The chamber takes 2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2 inch shells. A fiber-optic bead sits up front, the trigger carries a flat face, and the synthetic stock measures 14.25 inches of pull with the Kick-Off recoil device inside. The finish is Realtree MAX-7 camouflage. We list it as used; the supplier calls it new and shows a stock photo.

In New Jersey deer are shotgun, muzzleloader and bow game only, and a 12 gauge sits inside the 10 to 20 gauge range the state allows. Plugged to three shells and loaded with slugs or legal buckshot, this gun fits the Six-Day Firearm season of December 7 to 12 and the Permit Shotgun dates set by Deer Management Zone. The camouflage and 3 1/2 inch chamber carry it through the rest of the year as a field gun.
