The Escort BullTac puts a semi-automatic 12 gauge into a bullpup shell, so an 18-inch barrel ends up in a gun only 27.75 inches long. The chrome-plated barrel is proof tested and wears a fixed Cylinder choke, the chamber accepts 3-inch shells, and the tube holds five with one more in the chamber. Weight is 7.7 pounds, and a manual cross-button safety sits in the grip.

Sighting runs along a full-length Picatinny rail on top, with a second accessory rail on the forend for a light. The synthetic forearm and pistol grip keep the controls in a short span, and the Blue/Black finish is plain working gear. With a five-shell tube this is set up as a range and home layout rather than a New Jersey deer gun, which the state limits to three shells, so treat it as a compact defensive shotgun.
