Escort's BullTac is a bullpup pump-action shotgun in .410 that fits an 18-inch chrome-plated barrel into a 26.5-inch overall length. The 3-inch chamber feeds a 5+1 load, weight is 6.6 pounds and length of pull 13.5 inches. The receiver is black anodized aircraft alloy under a matte blue/black finish, the choke is fixed cylinder, and the safety is a two-position cross-button. The ghost ring rear sight adjusts inside the carry handle, which also carries the front sight. A vented muzzle brake and a muzzle cap are included.

A .410 falls outside New Jersey's 10-to-20 gauge rule for deer, so the BullTac is a close-range gun for home defense and range practice rather than the December deer woods. The bullpup layout keeps it compact enough to handle in a hallway, and the fixed cylinder choke throws an open pattern at the distances it is meant for. Smaller-framed shooters will appreciate the 13.5-inch length of pull and the 6.6-pound weight.
