The Cavalry GKOF20SV is a 20-gauge over-and-under from American Tactical with a silver engraved steel receiver and blued 26-inch barrels of chrome-moly steel, chrome plated inside and out. Chambers are 3 inches, extraction is by extractors rather than ejectors, and the single selective trigger picks the barrel. The stock and forend are oil-finished Turkish walnut with a 14.5-inch length of pull; weight is 6.4 pounds and overall length 42.5 inches. Choke tubes in improved cylinder, modified, improved modified and full are supplied.

Extractors lift the hulls for you to pull by hand, which keeps empties off the ground on a clay course. The 20 gauge and the two-shot capacity both meet New Jersey's shotgun rules for deer, so with the improved cylinder tube and buckshot or slugs it can serve in the December Six-Day Firearm season or on Permit Shotgun dates, then go back to tighter chokes for upland birds.
