A British Webley Mark VI from 1916, later converted to fire .45 ACP, with the 6-inch octagonal barrel. The serial numbers match, the bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action indexes correctly and locks up tight. The finish has turned a brown-grey patina with traces of the original blue in protected areas, the factory stamps and Broad Arrow acceptance marks are still sharp, and the grips show light service wear. A light brown canvas holster and belt come with the revolver. Serial number 241336.
This is a Great War collector's piece that still shoots, and the .45 ACP conversion means it runs on a current cartridge. New Jersey treats it as any other handgun: a Permit to Purchase a Handgun, available at 21 and filed through the NJSP online system to your local police department, is needed before the dealer can transfer it, and one handgun per 30 days is the limit unless you hold an exemption.
