USFA's Gunslinger is a single-action-only revolver in the Frontier Six Shooter pattern, chambered in .44-40 with a 7.5-inch barrel, a blade front sight, a six-round cylinder and walnut grips under an antiqued finish. This modern-production example has a provenance: it was owned by retired Texas Ranger Ron C. Stewart. The bore is excellent, the supplier rates overall condition excellent, and the original box is included. Serial number 58932.
This is a cowboy-action and collector revolver rather than a defensive handgun, and the Ranger ownership is the reason to choose it over another Gunslinger. New Jersey treats it like any other handgun: a Permit to Purchase, issued through your local police department via the NJSP online system, is required before the dealer can transfer it, and the one-handgun-per-30-days rule applies unless you hold an exemption.
