The Heritage Rough Rider is a single-action .22 LR revolver, and this version has the 6.5-inch barrel, an alloy frame, fixed sights, a black Cerakote finish and black pearl grips. Our listing shows it as used, while the supplier describes it as new and uses a stock photo, so ask which applies before you order.

Long-barreled rimfire single actions are range and plinking guns, and the 6.5-inch barrel gives a new shooter a long sight radius to learn on. New Jersey applies its handgun rules regardless of caliber: apply for a Permit to Purchase a Handgun through the NJSP Firearms Application and Registration System, which routes to your local police department; you must be 21, the permit runs 90 days with one automatic renewal, and the dealer runs the State Police check before you take it home. One handgun per 30 days applies unless you hold an exemption.
