A Colt Signature Series Dragoon in .44 percussion, made in the 1990s, with the fluted cylinder that is the scarce variation of this model. The 7.5-inch barrel is high-polish blued, the frame and loading rod are case hardened, and the brass trigger guard and backstrap are silver plated and carry the Sam Colt signature. Condition is very good overall, with light wear on the silver plating and frame. The original box is included. Serial number 35923.

Percussion Dragoons of this quality are bought as display and occasional range pieces, and the fluted cylinder makes this one a collector's find. Because it sits in our handgun listings, a New Jersey purchaser goes through the Permit to Purchase a Handgun process: apply online through the NJSP Firearms Application and Registration System, wait for your local police department to issue the permit, and pick the revolver up from a dealer who runs the State Police background check.
