A 1975 Colt Cobra, serial M61432, chambered in .38 Special with a 2-inch barrel. This is the vintage snub nose from the 1970s, and this one rates very good overall: the bore is very good, the finish and grips are very good with wear noted, and there is an import mark under the barrel. It is listed as a used Colt under SKU C20449.

In New Jersey a 2-inch .38 Special revolver is a sensible home defense and range gun for someone who prefers a revolver to a pistol. The short barrel keeps it handy in a nightstand drawer or a range bag, and .38 Special is an easy cartridge to shoot in volume at a club. Like every handgun sold here, it needs its own Permit to Purchase, valid 90 days and renewable once for another 90, filed online through the NJSP system to your local police department.
